Bis zu 80 m breit ist der weiße feine „Eieruhrensand“ in Karlshagen - jede Menge Platz für Kleckerburgenbauer, Badenixen und Sonnenanbeter. Wärmere Wassertemperaturen als anderswo an der Ostsee gibt es hier auch, da das flache Wasser auf den ersten 100 Metern durch die Sonne gut vorgewärmt wird. Das freut alle Wasserratten und besonders Kinder genießen ein sicheres Badevergnügen unter den wachsamen Augen der Rettungsschwimmer.
